This is the matchup that MLB was hoping for, I'm sure.
Oh yes. The merchandise and TV revenue is going to be massive.
Are you going to be watching? Who are you rooting for?
I'll be watching, as I always do. The second question is difficult for
me, and easy at the same time...
I'm a lifelong Red Sox fan, so I *cannot* root for the Yankees. That's
the easy part, and is ironclad.
I'm generally not a National League team fan. Also, the Dodgers are the
NL equivalent of the Skanks^H^H^H^H^H^H Yankees, as in the way they
*ahem* purchase what they need to win. As in buying a Pennant. So that bothers me some.
But... I think Ohtani is a once-in-a-lifetime quality of a ballplayer,
and I can't help but like him. I'm happy to be able to watch him some
more.
So... I'll be pulling for the Dodgers, begrudgingly. I hope they sweep
it in 4 games, but I don't expect that to happen. I'll say Dodgers in
six.
The Dodgers were my first favorite MLB team (when I was like 7 years
old), so I'll be rooting for them. I'm happy for Ohtani, but still bitter/bummed that he couldn't be doing this with the Angels.
ACK. Not sure why the Angels didn't/haven't done better.
Looking forward to Friday,
Me too, for several reasons!
... I was wondering why the baseball was getting bigger. Then it hit me.
