  • NO CARRIER

    Do you remember the days when we had dialup and we'd either get a no carrier
    or we'd send one to a twit to drop carrier? I believe it was F5 or something like that. Those were great times way back then.

    Depends on the BBS software. But that reminds me, I used to use IceChat to chat with users on my old BBS in the 90s, and IceChat had a feature where it could simulate line noise - When you pressed that hotkey, it would output a few random ASCII characters in a random place on the screen. Then you or the user would say there must be some line noise and hang up.

    I just found out that his last name was an alias. I never knew that till now. His real name is Jeremy Macdougall.
