  • New webv4 error.

    MarisaG has let echicken know about this but since I havent heard anything else I figured I would post it here in case anyone else might have any ideas.
    Running Synchronet 3.18c. Compiled Oct 4 2020 latest updates to webv4.
    error is !JavaScript/sbbs/webv4/components/navbar.xjs.ssjs line 15: TypeError: arr.forEach is not a function.

    latest updates to webv4. error is !JavaScript/sbbs/webv4/components/navbar.xjs.ssjs line 15:
    TypeError: arr.forEach is not a function.

    I gave her some suggestions on how to fix it, and she said that they worked. Perhaps she hasn't gotten around to fixing it on your BBS yet.

    If your webv4 installation is somewhere other than /sbbs/webv4, adjust the instructions below to accommodate for that.

    In ctrl/sbbs.ini -> [Web], make sure that RootDirectory points to /sbbs/webv4/root

    In ctrl/modopts.ini -> [web], make sure that web_directory points to /sbbs/webv4

    If you happen to have any empty subdirectories in /sbbs/webv4/pages/, please delete them and let me know if that fixes anything. There may be a "hidden" .examples directory which you can delete.

    ec's webv4 is now part of the sbbs repo, as of last month some time I think.

    Close. Apparently when I copied from my /sbbs/repo/webv4 dir to /sbbs/webv4 I did something wrong and had a webv4 dir with the sub-dirs in /sbbs/webv4. I removed that copied /sbbs/repo/webv4 to /sbbs/webv4 correctly and its fixed.
