    Hey DM,

    I believe that the default sbbs.ini has a typo in the mail server options line. It has USE_SUBMISSION PORT instead of USE_SUBMISSION_PORT which causes the mail submission port not to fire up and new sysops to probably bang their head against the keyboard trying to figure out what the problem is. Maybe its a right of passage... lol

    Thanks for the report. However, I don't see any instance of "USE_SUBMISSION PORT" (with a space between "SUBMISSION" and "PORT") in https://gitlab.synchro.net/sbbs/sbbs/-/blob/master/ctrl/sbbs.ini

    Maybe you can clarify?

    Intersting, I went back and looked at the previous 6 sbbs.ini(s) I pulled and all of them have as options [mail] USE_SUBMISSION_PORT

    I'm not sure. Just that the last two times I have downloaded and built from source I had to go into sbbs.ini and fix it. It's possible I may have accidently messed it up when editing it.
