It seems that your users control the BBS and network here, not you

The world and any hobby (BBSing or otherwise) does NOT revolve around
you, me, or anyone else. Everyone else, male and female, came into this
world, as naked and broke as I did...and are going out the same way.

Life is NOT "Fair" or "Burger King". Fair is a fall carnival, a
weather term, and a call in baseball, and you can NOT always 'Have
It Your Way'. I have been forced to accept these 2 truths many times
in the last several years...just like swallowing a bitter pill, and
    nearly choking.

In short, if you don't like the echo, you're free to leave it. If
you don't like the software, you're free to go to another one. And,
if you don't like the hobby, shut your system down, sell off all of
your computer equipment, turn off your internet access, and go find
    another hobby.

Another hobby I have, amateur radio, has gotten to where some in
that have done me dirty. So now, I'm only "on the air" for where
I am running various traffic nets as primary or backup net control,
(I do the nets because I have an interest in the organization or
topic for the net), or for a "sked" (where another amateur radio
operator meets me on a selected frequency for a QSO (chat)). I
haven't done many license exams since 2019, due to COVID-19...
because most of my fellow examiners are in "the vulnerable group"
for COVID-19...and I can't find a place to do exams.

A third hobby I have, square and round dancing, has me doing 6
tasks with the state organization, and 2 tasks with a local club...
even though I haven't done any square dancing since March, due to
COVID-19. Yet, I prefer to work "behind the scenes" with their
    website, and their monthly publication.

My goal is to not spend more than an hour or two a day, with ANY
of the hobbies that I have...otherwise, I'll get burned out. Yet,
with most hobbies, 1% of the people do 99% of the work. But, ANY
hobby should NOT take priority over things like church, family,
    health, job, or "honey-do's".

Your handle may be "The Millionaire", but I'm sure that there are
others in here who don't believe you're worth a wooden nickel with
all your rants. At least I post my real name, instead of hiding
    behind an alias.

And if you or others don't like my posts, they can put me in
their twit list, or ban me from their system. With other things
outside the BBS, I logon ONLY to my system. Lately, I logon to
update the ham radio and weather data, answer my QWK Mail, and
that's it. There are a bunch of games I'd love to play, but I
don't have the time to do such.
